Beloved Easton Man David Feeney Dies Following Tragic Accident
EASTON — The Easton community is mourning the loss of David Feeney, a beloved father, husband, son, friend, and colleague who tragically passed away on Monday, January 19, following a serious accident that also left another person injured.
According to those close to the family, David sustained critical injuries in the incident that were ultimately not survivable. His passing has sent waves of grief through the many lives he touched, as friends, neighbors, and colleagues reflect on a man known for his generosity, reliability, and quiet strength.
David was widely described as a person who was always there when others needed him. Whether it was towing a stranded car, fixing a leak, lending a hand with a project, or making a simple phone call to check in, he showed up without hesitation. To many, he was a constant source of support and reassurance — a steady presence who made life easier simply by being himself.
Above all, David was devoted to his family. He was a loving husband and a deeply committed father, as well as a cherished son. His family has shared that his loss is immeasurable, not only emotionally but also practically, as David was the primary financial provider for his household.
In the wake of his passing, loved ones have expressed gratitude for the outpouring of support from the community. Efforts are underway to help ease the financial burden on David’s family so they can focus on healing and honoring his memory. Friends say that every contribution, no matter the size, is deeply appreciated, and those unable to give financially are encouraged to share messages of support.
“David was a light to so many,” one family friend shared. “His kindness, his willingness to help, and his love for his family defined who he was. He will be missed more than words can express.”
Memorial service details are currently being finalized, with services expected to take place on February 1 or February 2. Additional information will be shared once arrangements are confirmed.
As Easton remembers David Feeney, his legacy lives on through the countless acts of kindness he extended and the many people whose lives are better because he was part of them.
